HOW IT WORKS

1. You – and about 150 other people – can play Wine Survivor by paying just $40, consisting of a $20 entry fee and $20 that goes toward the ‘purchase’ of a $20 bottle of wine on your behalf. Registration begins on Monday, Oct. 20 and closes on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

2. Once the game begins on Monday, Nov. 10, one-tenth of the total number of the game’s starting participants are randomly ‘voted off the island’ each evening. (For example, with 150 players, 15 are voted off per day). A daily email sent to all registered participants indicates who’s been voted off.

3. If you’re voted off the island, all is not lost! You can ‘buy your way back onto the island’ – once – providing you pay another $20 entry fee before 6:00 pm ET the next draw day.

4. At the end of the game, prizes are awarded to four final ‘survivors’ (based on our example of 150 players), as follows:

• FIRST PLACE WINNER takes home $1,500 in gift cards, HALF the ‘value’ of all the bottles of wine ‘purchased’ (i.e. 75 bottles of $20 wine) 
• SECOND PRIZE is $900 in gift cards (the value of 45 bottles)
• THIRD PRIZE is $400 in gift cards (the value of 20 bottles)
• FOURTH PRIZE is $200 in gift cards (the value of 10 bottles)

Prize value: The final value of the gift card prizes will depend on the number of players… more players mean more bottles of wine ‘purchased’! (Additional prizes may be awarded depending on the exact number of players.)
